Running a press machine and need a vane pump that ain't gonna rattle the whole shop apart. This one claim to be quiet or is that just marketing talk?

Noise reduction is actually built into the design here, not just a selling point. The intra-vane cartridge setup is specifically what handles that. It keeps internal contact smoother and more controlled, which cuts down on the racket you'd get from a conventional vane pump running at similar loads. For press machine work, that's a real advantage, especially if operators are nearby the equipment all shift long.
