We run a pretty loud hydraulic system right now and noise is becoming a real headache on the shop floor. Does this pump do anything to help with that?

Hey, will this pump work okay in a machine shop environment where it might get splashed with coolant or oil?

This Vickers vane pump is constructed from cast iron and uses Buna-N seals, which provides good resistance to petroleum-based fluids common in machine shop environments. That said, you'll want to make sure to wipe up any spills to prolong the life of the seals.
