Question by: Kent K on May 28, 2025, 2:33 PM
Will this valve work okay in a machine shop environment with some airborne grit and coolant mist floating around?
Answer by: Customer Support on May 30, 2025, 6:03 AM
This directional control valve is designed for demanding industrial settings, including machine tool environments. The Buna-N seals offer good fluid compatibility, which should help it hold up.
Question by: Tommy B on Jun 29, 2025, 2:54 PM
flow rate on this valve is listed at 80 LPM -- that enough to handle press or machine tool work without choking out the circuit?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 1, 2025, 7:22 AM
For most press and machine tool setups, 80 litres per minute gives you solid headroom. Those applications are listed right in the valve's intended use range, so you're not pushing it into territory it wasn't built for. Just make sure your system demand stays within that ceiling and you should be in good shape.
