Will this work for a machine tool application, or is it more suited for something else?

flow rate on this one is listed at 80 LPM, but what kinda applications is it actually built for? we run press and machine tool equipment mostly

Eighty litres per minute puts it in solid territory for press and machine tool work, which are both explicitly in its application range. Beyond those two, it also covers primary metal, die casting and foundry, marine and offshore, turbine control, and test and simulation setups. The DG4V-3 series was built with that kind of variety in mind, so moving between different machine types on the same floor is pretty common with these valves.
