Designed for three- or four-way directional control in demanding industrial environments, the Vickers DG4V 3S 0N M FW B5 is a single-stage directional control valve rated for flow up to 80 litres per minute. With a solenoid wattage of 30W and Buna-N seals, it is well suited for use across a broad range of hydraulic systems where reliable switching and consistent performance are required.
Mountable on industry-standard surfaces, this valve fits into existing circuit designs without custom adaptation. Its application range spans machine tool, press, primary metal, marine and offshore, die casting and foundry, turbine control, and test and simulation equipment, reflecting the flexibility built into the DG4V-3 series. The Vickers brand, now part of the Danfoss/Eaton portfolio, carries broad recognition in industrial hydraulic applications worldwide.

Question by: Clint C on Aug 5, 2025, 6:39 AM
Will this work for a machine tool application, or is it more suited for something else?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 6, 2025, 5:58 PM
It is well-suited to machine tool applications, along with presses, primary metal, marine/offshore, die casting/foundry, turbine control, and test/simulation equipment.
Question by: Harold J on Jan 28, 2026, 3:09 PM
flow rate on this one is listed at 80 LPM, but what kinda applications is it actually built for? we run press and machine tool equipment mostly
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 30, 2026, 6:24 AM
Eighty litres per minute puts it in solid territory for press and machine tool work, which are both explicitly in its application range. Beyond those two, it also covers primary metal, die casting and foundry, marine and offshore, turbine control, and test and simulation setups. The DG4V-3 series was built with that kind of variety in mind, so moving between different machine types on the same floor is pretty common with these valves.
