Question by: Rod F on Jan 8, 2026, 9:42 PM
Will this here valve work okay in a marine hydraulic setup?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 10, 2026, 6:31 AM
This Vickers valve is definitely suitable for marine and offshore applications, along with uses like die casting, machine tools, and turbine control.
Question by: Steve H on Sep 7, 2025, 2:44 PM
flow rate on this valve is listed at 80 liters per minute -- is that enough for most press or die casting setups running at full load?
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 9, 2025, 6:42 AM
For a good chunk of press and die casting applications, 80 liters per minute handles the job without issue. Those environments tend to run high-demand cycles, and this valve was built with exactly that in mind. It's also rated for turbine control and primary metal work, so it's no stranger to heavy-duty duty cycles. If your system is pushing significantly beyond that flow rate, you'd want to size up, but for most standard setups in those industries, 80 LPM sits right in the wheelhouse.
