Rated for flow up to 380 litres per minute, the Vickers DG5V 7 8C V M U H7 is a two-stage directional control valve designed for demanding industrial hydraulic applications. Operating at 30 watts, it offers three- or four-way directional control and mounts to industry-standard surfaces, supporting straightforward integration across a wide range of equipment configurations.
Buna-N seals provide reliable fluid compatibility across typical hydraulic media. The valve is suited for use in die casting and foundry equipment, machine tools, presses, primary metal and paper processing machinery, marine and offshore systems, test and simulation equipment, and turbine control applications covering wind, steam, and water installations. The breadth of compatible applications reflects the flexibility of the DG5V-7 platform across high-flow industrial hydraulic circuits.

Question by: Rusty B on Oct 1, 2025, 6:49 AM
What kinda machines does this directional control valve usually go in?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 3, 2025, 6:52 AM
Common applications for this Vickers valve include die casting and foundry equipment, machine tools, presses, and metal or paper processing machinery. It's also used in marine, offshore, test, and simulation equipment, as well as turbine control systems for wind, steam, and water power.
Question by: Eddie H on Jul 7, 2025, 1:04 PM
we run a fair amount of high-flow circuits in our press lines and been burned before by valves that couldn't keep up, what's the flow capacity on this one?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 8, 2025, 9:17 PM
At 380 litres per minute, this valve is built for serious high-flow work. Press applications are actually one of the listed use cases for the DG5V-7 platform, so it's a reasonable fit for that kind of duty. The two-stage design handles the demands that would overwhelm a single-stage unit at those flow levels.
