flow rate on this unit is 80 LPM, but what all can it actually be used for? got a few different machines I'm tryin to sort out
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 22, 2026, 6:31 AM
Quite a few applications are covered with this valve. It's rated for die casting and foundry work, machine tools, presses, primary metal and paper processing, marine and offshore environments, test equipment and simulation setups, and turbine control systems including wind, steam, and water. That's a pretty wide net, so there's a good chance it fits more than one of what you're working with.
Question by: Sheila H on Oct 24, 2025, 8:51 PM
Will this directional control valve work for a turbine control system, like for a wind turbine?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 26, 2025, 1:58 PM
This Vickers valve can indeed handle turbine control, including wind, steam, and water-based systems, according to its listed applications. It's designed for precise fluid direction, making it suitable for those setups.
