If I'm usin' this in a marine environment, is that Buna-N seal gonna hold up okay?
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 9, 2025, 4:20 PM
That Buna-N seal should offer pretty good resistance to contamination, which is definitely helpful in marine applications, contributing to the valve's longevity and reducing how often you'll need to mess with maintenance.
Question by: Darryl W on Jul 21, 2025, 8:35 PM
flow rate on this one's listed at 60 LPM -- is that enough for press and die casting work or would you typically need something bigger for those applications?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 23, 2025, 6:58 PM
For most press and die casting setups, 60 liters per minute is a solid working capacity. Die casting machines and presses vary a lot in their demands, but this valve sits in a range that handles a wide variety of those cycles without being undersized. The DGMDC series was built with exactly those applications in mind, so that flow rating isn't arbitrary. If your system is running well within that ceiling, you're in good shape.
