Question by: Earl R on Dec 8, 2025, 2:06 PM
flow rate on this unit is listed at 95 LPM -- is that enough to run a press circuit without starving the actuator during rapid advance?
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 9, 2025, 2:58 PM
At 95 litres per minute, this valve handles a solid range of press applications without becoming a bottleneck on rapid advance moves. The DG4S4 series covers three- and four-way directional control, so depending on how your circuit is configured, you have flexibility in how flow gets directed. That said, whether 95 LPM is sufficient really comes down to your actuator bore, stroke speed requirement, and system pressure. The valve itself won't be the weak link in most standard press circuits running within that flow envelope.
