Question by: Wade E on Apr 12, 2025, 6:07 AM
flow rate on this thing is listed at 120 LPM -- that enough for press work or is it on the low end for that kind of application?
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 13, 2025, 2:11 PM
For press applications, 120 liters per minute is a solid working flow rate and falls well within what these system stack valves are built to handle. Press use is actually one of the listed applications for this valve, so you're not pushing it into territory it wasn't meant for. The nitrile seals hold up well under the kind of cyclic pressure conditions presses generate, and the stack design keeps external leakage out of the equation, which matters a lot when you're running a press line and need things clean and predictable.
Question by: Rhonda K on Sep 15, 2025, 4:47 PM
Will this stack valve work for turbine control, like for a windmill application?
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 17, 2025, 11:45 AM
Designed for applications like turbine control, this Vickers valve is indeed suitable for use with wind, steam, and water turbines.
