Question by: Judy M on Sep 4, 2025, 5:45 PM
Will this work okay in a machine tool application, or is it more for other stuff?
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 6, 2025, 6:31 AM
This proportional valve is well-suited for machine tool environments, along with die casting, marine, plastics production, and other industrial uses.
Question by: Wade A on Mar 17, 2026, 3:46 PM
flow rate on this one is listed at 8 liters per minute -- is that gonna be enough for press or die casting work, or is it more suited to lighter duty stuff?
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 19, 2026, 6:25 AM
For a lot of press and die casting setups, 8 liters per minute sits on the lower end, so it really comes down to what your circuit demands. This valve handles those application types by design, die casting and foundry work are both listed as intended uses, but if your system needs higher flow throughput, you'd want to size accordingly. Where it earns its keep is in precision control situations where you need proportional response more than raw volume. The direct-acting mechanism and three available performance levels, ultra, high, and standard, give you room to match it to the demands of the job without overbuilding the circuit.
