KDG4V-3S-3C15N-VM-FPBW-GP5-60-EN2

Description & Features

Designed for demanding industrial environments, the KDG4V-3S-3C15N-VM-FPBW-GP5-60-EN2 is a direct-acting proportional valve from Vickers by Danfoss, engineered without an on-board electronics (OBE) module. It supports a flow rate of 13 litres per minute and uses fluorocarbon seals, making it suitable for applications where fluid compatibility and seal durability are important considerations.

Available in three performance levels, ultra, high, and standard, the valve can be matched to a wide range of application requirements without over-specifying. Plug-and-play functionality helps reduce commissioning time during installation. Typical applications span machine tool, press, marine and offshore, die casting and foundry, primary metal and paper, test equipment and simulation, and turbine control systems covering wind, steam, and water. The English-language variant, this valve is part of Danfoss Power Solutions' proportional valve range under the Vickers sub-brand.

Question by: Debbie R on Mar 26, 2026, 8:48 AM
Will this handle hydraulic fluid with a fluorocarbon seal, or am I misreading that?
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 27, 2026, 2:02 PM
Yes, you're reading it right. The valve uses fluorocarbon seals, which makes it a good choice when you need to be sure the seals are compatible with the fluid you're using.
Question by: Norm Y on Jul 1, 2025, 1:03 PM
Flow rate on this one is listed at 13 litres per minute, is that enough for press or die casting work, or is this valve more on the light-duty side?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 3, 2025, 10:48 AM
For press and die casting applications, 13 litres per minute puts this valve in a solid working range for proportional control tasks where precision matters more than raw volume. It's a direct-acting proportional valve, so it handles the control side of things rather than moving large volumes of fluid on its own. Both press and die casting are listed application types for this valve, so it fits right in those environments. If your system demands higher flow, you'd need to size accordingly, but for proportional control duties in those industries this is a well-matched option.
