Question by: Terry C on Nov 1, 2025, 8:28 PM
Can this valve handle hydraulic fluid with some moisture, or do I need to be extra careful about keeping things dry?
Answer by: Customer Support on Nov 3, 2025, 6:41 AM
This Vickers valve has moisture-resistant features and is constructed with Buna-N seals, which should provide reliable sealing even in demanding hydraulic environments. However, best practice is always to minimize moisture in your hydraulic systems to prolong the life of all components.
Question by: Curt K on Aug 24, 2025, 9:35 PM
Flow rate on this one says 454 liters per minute, is that enough for most pressure relief setups or is that on the lower end?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 26, 2025, 7:30 PM
For a pressure control valve handling adjustable relief or regulation duties, 454 liters per minute is actually a pretty solid flow capacity. Most standard hydraulic circuits running relief or pressure-limiting functions don't come close to pushing that much fluid through a single valve. You'd really only start bumping up against that number in high-volume industrial or heavy equipment applications. For the bulk of pressure regulation setups, that flow rating gives you plenty of headroom.
