VICKERS DGMDC 5 X TM 30

Description & Features

Designed for demanding industrial hydraulic circuits, the Vickers DGMDC 5 X TM 30 is a SystemStak directional control valve rated for flow up to 120 litres per minute. Its stackable architecture eliminates the need for separate manifold blocks, reducing installation complexity and minimising potential external leak paths.

Buna-N seals provide reliable performance across the range of fluids common to industrial hydraulic systems. The valve's design builds in strong resistance to contamination, a critical factor in high-duty environments such as die casting, press applications, primary metal processing, and marine or offshore installations. Machine tool circuits, test and simulation rigs, and turbine control systems are also supported applications. The 30-design series is a Vickers by Eaton product line with an established install base across these sectors.

Question by: Neil R on Nov 6, 2025, 2:02 PM
flow rate on this one tops out at 120 LPM if I'm reading it right, that gonna hold up running press circuits without dropping off?
Answer by: Customer Support on Nov 8, 2025, 6:57 AM
120 litres per minute is the rated flow ceiling for this valve, so for press applications it falls right in line with what the design targets. Press circuits are one of the explicitly supported uses, and the stackable SystemStak architecture helps keep the installation tight and leak paths minimal, which matters when you're running a press under regular load. As long as your circuit demands stay within that 120 LPM range, you're working within what this valve was built for.
Question by: Dean E on Jul 10, 2025, 6:14 PM
I'm working on a hydraulic system for a forging press. Would this valve be suitable for that application?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 12, 2025, 7:00 AM
Application-wise, this Vickers valve is well-suited for presses. More broadly, it's designed for demanding industrial hydraulic circuits like those found in die casting, primary metal processing, and even marine/offshore setups.
