VICKERS DGMR 5 A2 FW 30

Description & Features

Designed for machine tool and general industrial applications, the Vickers DGMR 5 A2 FW 30 is a SystemStak directional control valve engineered for stackable manifold configurations. Built on the DGMR-5 platform, it supports flow rates up to 120 litres per minute and uses Buna-N seals suited to a broad range of hydraulic fluids.

SystemStak construction reduces installation costs by eliminating the need for individual valve bodies and external interconnecting lines, which also removes potential external leakage paths. The integrated design strengthens resistance to contamination, a practical advantage in demanding machine tool environments. At 2.82 inches wide, this valve fits within compact manifold assemblies without sacrificing flow capacity.

Question by: Dustin R on Feb 5, 2026, 1:45 PM
If I'm putting together a manifold, what's the width of this valve? Just trying to figure out spacing.
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 7, 2026, 6:44 AM
It's 2.82 inches wide, so you can plan your manifold assembly accordingly.
Question by: Ralph W on Nov 27, 2025, 12:59 PM
flow rate on this valve is listed at 120 litres per minute, that enough for most machine tool setups or is that on the lower end?
Answer by: Customer Support on Nov 28, 2025, 8:10 PM
For machine tool work, 120 litres per minute is a solid capacity. Most standard machine tool circuits run well within that range, so you're unlikely to hit a ceiling in typical applications. The DGMR-5 platform was built with exactly that kind of environment in mind, so the flow rating lines up well with what those machines generally demand.
