Vickers DG4V 3 6C M FTWL

Description & Features

Designed for three- or four-way directional control in demanding industrial environments, the Vickers DG4V 3 6C M FTWL is a single-stage directional control valve rated for flow up to 80 litres per minute. Buna-N seals provide reliable fluid compatibility across a broad range of hydraulic media.

Mounting follows industry-standard surface patterns, making installation straightforward in new builds and retrofit applications alike. The valve suits a wide range of sectors, including machine tool, press, primary metal, marine/offshore, die casting and foundry, test equipment and simulation, and turbine control for wind, steam, and water systems. Thousands of configuration variants within the DG4V-3 series allow close matching to specific circuit requirements.

Reckon this valve'll work alright in a machine shop environment, you know, with all the coolant and whatnot flying around?
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 31, 2026, 6:27 AM
Designed for demanding industrial environments, the Vickers DG4V 3 6C M FTWL should hold up just fine in a machine shop. It's got Buna-N seals, which offer pretty good fluid compatibility.
Question by: Denise B on Mar 14, 2026, 1:20 PM
flow rate on this one is listed at 80 LPM -- that enough for most press or die casting setups running mid-range demand?
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 16, 2026, 8:54 AM
For mid-range press and die casting applications, 80 litres per minute covers a solid range of common circuit demands. The DG4V-3 series was built with exactly those environments in mind, along with primary metal and machine tool work. If your system is running near that ceiling consistently, you'd want to size your circuit accordingly, but for typical mid-demand cycles in those industries it sits right in the wheelhouse.
