Question by: Rex J on Jan 7, 2026, 3:24 PM
Will this here valve work okay in a marine environment, or is it gonna rust up on me?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 9, 2026, 6:01 AM
Constructed with fluorocarbon seals, this Vickers proportional valve should hold up well in marine and offshore applications.
Question by: Chad R on Sep 16, 2025, 8:45 AM
flow rate on this one is listed at 7 liters per minute -- that enough for press applications or is that on the low end for that kind of work?
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 18, 2025, 6:27 AM
For press applications, 7 liters per minute is on the modest side, but it lines up well with direct-acting proportional valves used in control and pilot functions rather than high-volume flow paths. The KDG4V series is specifically listed for press use, so within that context it fits where precision control matters more than raw throughput.
