VICKERS DG4V32AHMU1B660EN38

Description & Features

The Vickers DG4V32AHMU1B660EN38 is a directional control valve suited for applications such as die casting and foundry work, machine tools, marine and offshore environments, presses, primary metal processing, paper production, test equipment and simulation, and turbine control for wind, steam, and water systems.

This valve features a Buna-N seal material and a flow rate of 80 liters per minute. A special, low-leakage design with high head loss is incorporated, providing typical leakage of 5ml/min/land at 100bar head loss x 2 standard valve. Special spools have increased overlap, installation drawing number 508190, and assembly drawing number 698501.

Would this valve hold up okay in a marine environment, like on a boat or near the coast?
Answer by: Customer Support on May 15, 2025, 11:06 AM
This Vickers valve is applicable in marine and offshore environments, as well as in die casting, machine tool, primary metal, paper production, and turbine control applications.
Question by: Jean T on Mar 25, 2026, 9:23 AM
what's the leakage spec on this valve? trying to figure out if it'll hold tight enough for a press application we got running pretty much all day
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 27, 2026, 6:12 AM
Leakage on this valve runs about 5ml per minute per land at 100 bar head loss, which works out to roughly twice that of a standard valve in the same series. The low-leakage design uses special spools with increased overlap to keep things tight. For press work, that tradeoff between leakage control and higher head loss is worth keeping in mind when you're sizing the system.
