Question by: Howard E on Jul 3, 2025, 4:38 PM
Trying to swap out an older Eaton Vickers proportional valve, is this one a direct-acting KDG4V-3 and does it come without the onboard electronics?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 4, 2025, 7:09 PM
Direct-acting operation is part of the KDG4V-3 proportional valve design, and this version is specifically called out as a proportional valve without OBE, meaning it is supplied without onboard electronics.
Question by: Ross H on Jan 30, 2026, 1:04 PM
what applications is this valve built for? trying to figure out if it'd work on our press setup
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 31, 2026, 2:31 PM
Press use are actually one of the listed application fits for this valve, along with die casting, machine tool work, marine and offshore environments, primary metal and paper processing, test equipment, and turbine control systems. So a press setup falls right in line with what it was built to handle.
