VICKERS DG5V72A2MUH730

Description & Features

Designed for high-flow hydraulic circuits, the Vickers DG5V72A2MUH730 is a two-stage directional control valve from the DG5V-7 series, capable of handling flow rates up to 380 litres per minute. With a 30-watt solenoid and Buna-N seals, it is built for reliable performance across demanding industrial environments.

This valve supports three- or four-way directional control and mounts on industry-standard surfaces, making integration into existing hydraulic systems straightforward. It is well-suited for a broad range of applications including die casting and foundry equipment, machine tools, presses, marine and offshore installations, primary metal and paper processing, test and simulation equipment, and turbine control systems covering wind, steam, and water configurations.

Question by: Jean F on Dec 4, 2025, 10:45 AM
flow rate on this thing goes up to 380 LPM -- that enough to run high-demand press circuits without choking out?
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 6, 2025, 8:14 AM
For press applications pulling serious flow, 380 litres per minute puts this valve in a solid range. The DG5V-7 series was built with high-flow hydraulic circuits in mind, so it's not going to be the bottleneck in a demanding press setup. The two-stage design helps manage that kind of volume without the instability you can get from single-stage valves at high flow.

Will this fit in place of my old DG5V-7-2A2M-UH valve? Looks pretty similar.

This DG5V72A2MUH730 is designed to mount on industry-standard surfaces, making it straightforward to integrate into existing hydraulic systems.
