Question by: Jimmy H on Aug 16, 2025, 4:09 PM
Is this valve good for a machine tool application?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 18, 2025, 11:27 AM
Absolutely, this Vickers directional control valve is well-suited for machine tool applications, along with die casting, marine, presses, and more.
Question by: Earl B on Jan 26, 2026, 9:59 AM
flow rate on this one is listed at 80 liters per minute -- is that enough for press or die casting work, or is it on the low end for those kind of applications?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 27, 2026, 9:12 PM
For press and die casting setups, 80 liters per minute is a solid working flow rate that covers a wide range of standard cycle demands in those environments. It's not a high-flow valve, so if your system pushes unusually heavy volume requirements you'd want to size accordingly, but for typical press and die casting circuits this sits right in a practical operating range. The three- or four-way directional control also gives you flexibility depending on how your circuit is laid out.
