Question by: Brenda W on Jul 5, 2025, 6:07 AM
Flow rate on this one's listed at 20 liters per minute, that enough volume for a die casting setup runnin multiple actuators, or is this more of a single-circuit valve?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 7, 2025, 6:07 AM
For die casting applications, 20 liters per minute is a reasonable flow capacity for single-circuit control or smaller actuator configurations. The KDG4V 3 2C20N H M U is specifically listed for die casting and foundry use, so it fits that environment by design. Whether it handles multiple actuators simultaneously depends on your system's demand, but at 20 LPM it's generally better suited to controlling one primary circuit at a time rather than splitting flow across several.
Question by: Patty R on Oct 14, 2025, 7:05 PM
Will this here valve work alright for controlling the hydraulics on a die casting machine?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 16, 2025, 6:28 AM
This proportional valve is indeed suitable for die casting and foundry applications, as well as machine tools, marine/offshore environments, and turbine control.
