Vickers KDG4V 3 2C13N H M U

Description & Features

A direct-acting proportional valve with fluorocarbon seals, the Vickers KDG4V 3 2C13N H M U is designed for precise flow control at up to 13 litres per minute. Available in three performance levels, ultra, high, and standard, it can be matched to a broad range of application demands without over-specifying the system.

Plug-and-play functionality reduces commissioning time, making it well suited for integration into demanding industrial environments. Typical applications include machine tools, press equipment, die casting and foundry machinery, marine and offshore systems, primary metal and paper processing, test and simulation equipment, and turbine control for wind, steam, and water installations.

Question by: Jean H on Jul 17, 2025, 7:25 PM
flow rate on this tops out at 13 liters per minute -- that gonna hold up runnin press equipment all day or is that cuttin it close?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 19, 2025, 12:07 PM
For press equipment, 13 litres per minute is a reasonable ceiling on a direct-acting proportional valve at this size class. Whether it holds up depends on your cycle demands and how much of that capacity you're actually drawing during operation. The valve is listed specifically as a fit for press applications, so it's not being stretched outside its intended use. Just make sure your system isn't regularly pushing right at the edge of that flow limit for extended periods, and you should be in good shape.
Question by: Gary G on Dec 29, 2025, 12:20 PM
What kind of seal does this valve use?
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 30, 2025, 6:07 PM
It uses fluorocarbon seals, which should hold up well in demanding industrial environments.
