Question by: Rex P on Jun 21, 2025, 6:22 PM
flow rate on this one is 13 liters per minute, is that gonna hold up alright for machine tool work or is it too low for most setups?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 23, 2025, 7:42 AM
For machine tool applications, 13 liters per minute is well within the typical operating range for proportional valve control work. This valve was built with machine tools as one of its primary use cases, so that flow rate isn't an arbitrary number. It's matched to the kind of precise, controlled flow demand that machine tool circuits usually call for. If your system is already sized around similar flow requirements, it should fit right in without any need to compensate elsewhere in the circuit.

reckon this valve could handle the kinda pressures you get in a die casting setup?
Answer by: Customer Support on May 15, 2025, 2:41 PM
Built by Vickers under Danfoss Power Solutions, this proportional valve is well-suited for demanding industrial applications, including die casting and foundry work.
