flow rate on this one is listed at 22 liters per minute -- is that enough for press or machine tool work, or is it more suited to lighter duty setups?

For most machine tool and press applications, 22 liters per minute lands in a practical range that handles a solid variety of cycle demands without oversizing the valve. It's not a high-volume unit, so if your press circuit is running very large bore cylinders at fast cycle rates, you'd want to confirm your flow requirements beforehand. For die casting, turbine control, and general machine tool work though, that flow rate fits right into typical operating conditions for proportional control valves in this class.
