Question by: Curt B on Jan 18, 2026, 8:05 PM
We run a die casting operation and been lookin at this valve for a while now. Does the seal material hold up alright in that kind of environment, or is there something about it we should know before ordering?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 20, 2026, 6:07 PM
Buna-N is a solid choice for die casting setups. It handles the heat and fluid exposure that comes with that kind of work pretty well, and Vickers specifically lists die casting and foundry use as intended applications for this valve. So you're not working against the design here, you're right in the middle of what it was built for.
