Question by: Rusty R on Oct 5, 2025, 6:38 AM
How long can I expect this Vickers pump to last if I'm running it pretty much non-stop?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 6, 2025, 1:51 PM
The VQ(H) series is known for its extended service life, so it should hold up well even under demanding, continuous-duty applications.
Question by: Freddie B on Sep 14, 2025, 7:42 AM
Running a press machine that stays pretty much wide open all shift, five days a week. This pump gonna hold up to that kind of continuous load, or is it more of a light-duty piece?
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 16, 2025, 7:08 AM
Continuous heavy-duty service is exactly what the VQ(H) series was built for. The cast iron housing handles sustained mechanical stress better than aluminum-bodied alternatives, and the Buna-N seals are rated for the kind of heat cycles you see in press applications. Volumetric efficiency stays strong over time, which matters when you're trying to hold consistent output across a full shift without pressure drop-off creeping in on you.
