Question by: Darryl A on Jun 4, 2025, 5:28 PM
We run a metal cutting setup and been looking at replacing our current vane pump. This a cast iron unit? Wanting something that'll hold up to the grind.
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 6, 2025, 6:52 AM
Cast iron construction all the way through on this one. For metal cutting environments where heat and pressure cycles are constant, that build quality makes a real difference in how long the pump holds up before you start seeing wear. The 35VQ series was built with exactly that kind of demanding, high-pressure work in mind, so it fits right into what you're describing.
Question by: Darryl B on Feb 3, 2026, 8:12 PM
Will this work good on a dump truck application like it says?
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 5, 2026, 3:12 PM
This 35VQ series pump is indeed well-suited for dump truck applications, as well as plastic injection molding, metal cutting, and oil and gas uses.
