Question by: Jimmy E on Apr 23, 2025, 7:14 PM
Is this Vickers pump gonna drop right in where the old one was?
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 25, 2025, 6:42 AM
For replacement purposes, this 4520V42A5 model is part of the Vickers V Series of vane pumps, so it should match the mounting footprint and port locations of other standard pumps in that series. Double-check the dimensions against your existing unit to be sure, especially the 8.38-inch width.
Question by: Rod J on Aug 31, 2025, 11:42 AM
Been running a double-pump setup on a press machine and need to know what kind of seals are in this unit before I pull the trigger on it.
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 2, 2025, 6:39 AM
Viton seals are what you get with this one. That's a solid choice for industrial press applications since Viton holds up well against the hydraulic fluids typically used in that kind of equipment. The cast iron housing adds to the overall durability, so it's built for the continuous-duty demands that press machines put on a pump.
