Product Questions & Answers (2)
Question by: Frank A on May 8, 2025, 10:36 AM
Flow rate on this one is listed at 8 liters per minute, is that gonna hold up running it on a machine tool application, or is that more suited to lighter-duty setups?
Answer by: Customer Support on May 9, 2025, 7:50 PM
Eight liters per minute is well within the range for machine tool use. The valve is actually listed for machine tool applications specifically, along with more demanding environments like die casting and press use. So you're not pushing it into territory it wasn't built for. The fluorocarbon seals also help it hold up in conditions where heat and fluid compatibility matter.
Question by: Neal E on May 15, 2025, 9:13 AM
Is this valve okay to use in a machine that makes metal parts?
Answer by: Customer Support on May 17, 2025, 6:01 AM
Applications like die casting, foundries, and primary metal production are exactly what this Vickers valve is designed for. It's built to handle the demands of those environments.
