Question by: Danny D on Oct 16, 2025, 7:52 PM
What kind of jobs is this valve really good for?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 18, 2025, 12:57 PM
This Vickers valve shines in demanding applications like die casting, machine tools, marine and offshore environments, presses, primary metal processing, paper manufacturing, test equipment and simulation, and turbine control, including wind, steam, and water turbines.
Question by: Ralph A on Apr 14, 2025, 8:07 AM
Flow rate on this one says 8 liters per minute, is that enough for press applications or would it be on the low end for that kind of work?
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 15, 2025, 6:05 PM
For press applications, 8 liters per minute puts this valve in a range suited to controlled, precision-driven circuits rather than high-volume flow demands. Press systems that rely on proportional control for clamping, positioning, or pressure regulation often operate well within that range. If your press circuit needs higher flow, a different valve in the KDG4V lineup may be worth looking at, but for moderate-duty proportional control on press equipment, this flow rate is a reasonable fit.
