Flow rate on this one says 1,700 litres per minute, that right for a 40-series cartridge? Seems high but we run some pretty heavy press circuits.

That flow rating is accurate for the CVI-40. The 40-series designation refers to the larger cartridge bore size, which is what allows it to handle that kind of volume. For high-flow press circuits running big cylinders or fast-acting sequences, that capacity is exactly what this valve is built around. It fits within the IV slip-in cartridge category, so it drops into a compatible manifold cavity rather than inline hydraulic connections, which also helps keep pressure drop manageable at those flow levels.
