Product Questions & Answers (2)

Question by: Lynn C on Feb 20, 2026, 1:03 PM
What kind of applications is this valve cover suited for?
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 21, 2026, 6:35 PM
This valve cover is suitable for a pretty wide range of applications, including presses, plastics molding machines, die casting machines, shears and balers, machine tools and metal forming machinery, steel mill machinery, primary metal processing equipment, mobile vehicles, and even marine applications. So it's pretty versatile.
Question by: Gene M on Dec 23, 2025, 6:44 AM
flow rate on this one is listed at 590 liters per minute, is that enough to hold up on a heavy press line running pretty much all day?
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 24, 2025, 10:55 AM
For press applications, 590 liters per minute is a solid flow capacity. This cover is specifically called out for press use, along with die casting and metal forming machinery, so it was built with those kinds of demanding cycles in mind. The Buna-N seals hold up well in hydraulic fluid environments, which helps with durability over long run times. As long as your system demands fall within that 590 LPM ceiling, you should be in good shape on a production press line.
