Designed for precision flow control in demanding industrial environments, the Vickers-KCG 3 L350D Z M U H1 10P15 T10 is a direct-acting proportional valve rated at 5 litres per minute. It is part of the Vickers KCG-3 10 Design series, available in three performance levels, ultra, high, and standard, allowing it to be matched to a wide range of application requirements without over-specifying.
Plug-and-play functionality reduces commissioning time, making this valve well-suited for integration into machine tool systems, press equipment, turbine control (wind, steam, and water), and marine or offshore installations. Additional application areas include die casting and foundry, primary metal processing, paper manufacturing, and test equipment and simulation setups. The valve uses Buna-N seals and carries a lead time of 60 days.

Question by: Cheryl R on Dec 5, 2025, 7:58 AM
got a press setup that needs real tight flow control, will 5 litres per minute be enough or is this valve gonna be a bottleneck?
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 6, 2025, 5:33 PM
For press applications that call for precise, low-volume flow regulation, 5 litres per minute is right in the wheelhouse of what this valve handles. It's a direct-acting proportional valve, so the control response is immediate rather than pilot-dependent, which tends to matter a lot in press work where you want consistent, repeatable movement. If your system demand runs higher than 5 LPM, this particular unit would be undersized, but for fine metering at lower flow rates it fits that need well.

Reckon this'd be alright for runnin' a small press, like for stamping metal?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 6, 2026, 1:23 PM
Application-wise, yes, this Vickers valve should do the trick for press equipment. It's also used in die casting, foundries, and primary metal processing, so it's definitely suited for industrial hydraulic press applications.
