VICKERS-DG5V-7-3C-E-M-U-H7-30

Description & Features

Designed for demanding industrial environments, the Vickers DG5V-7-3C-E-M-U-H7-30 is a two-stage directional control valve capable of handling flow rates up to 380 litres per minute. The 30-watt solenoid configuration and Buna-N seals make it well suited for high-cycle applications where reliable directional switching is critical.

This valve supports both three- and four-way directional control and mounts easily on industry-standard subplate surfaces, simplifying integration into existing hydraulic circuits. Its broad application range covers die casting and foundry equipment, machine tools, presses, primary metal processing, marine and offshore systems, test and simulation rigs, and turbine control systems including wind, steam, and water turbines. The Vickers platform offers extensive model availability, allowing engineers to match valve configuration precisely to system requirements.

Question by: Carl S on May 30, 2025, 9:03 PM
flow rate on this thing is listed at 380 litres per minute -- is that enough to run a press application without starving the circuit?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 1, 2025, 8:30 AM
For press applications, 380 litres per minute puts this valve in solid territory. High-tonnage presses with fast cycle demands can move a lot of fluid quick, and a two-stage directional control valve at that flow capacity is built to keep up without creating a bottleneck in the circuit. Press work is actually one of the named application types for this valve, so it fits right in that use case.
Question by: Carl G on Jun 16, 2025, 4:47 PM
Just want to be sure, this is the two-stage model that handles up to 380 liters/minute, right?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 18, 2025, 7:21 AM
That's correct. This Vickers DG5V-7-3C-E-M-U-H7-30 valve is indeed designed to control flow rates up to 380 liters per minute, making it suitable for demanding applications.
