Product Questions & Answers (2)

Question by: Earl H on Dec 8, 2025, 11:17 AM
Flow rate on this one is listed at 80 liters per minute, is that enough to handle a die casting setup without bogging down the system?
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 10, 2025, 6:59 AM
For most die casting applications, 80 liters per minute is a solid working flow rate and falls right in line with what the DG4V series is built for. Die casting and foundry environments are actually listed as one of the primary applications for this valve, so it was engineered with that kind of demand in mind. As long as your system requirements don't push past that 80 lpm ceiling, you should be in good shape running it in that environment.
Question by: Floyd G on Oct 11, 2025, 1:43 PM
Will this work okay in a high-pressure press setup?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 13, 2025, 11:09 AM
This Vickers valve is designed for demanding industrial applications, including high-pressure press environments, so it should be suitable for your needs. It's also used in die casting and marine/offshore applications.
