Question by: Earl P on May 18, 2025, 8:32 PM
flow rate on this valve is listed at 5 liters per minute -- is that enough for die casting work or is it on the low end for that kind of application?
Answer by: Customer Support on May 20, 2025, 8:30 PM
Five liters per minute puts this valve in the right range for proportional control tasks in die casting environments, which is one of the specific applications it's built for. It's not a high-volume flow valve, so if your setup needs to push serious volume through a single valve, you'd want to size accordingly. For precision control functions in die casting, though, that flow rate lines up with what this series is intended to handle.

Wondering if this valve will work for a die casting setup?
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 15, 2026, 4:59 PM
It's applicable to die casting and foundry work, as well as machine tool, marine/offshore, press, primary metal, paper, test equipment and simulation, and turbine control applications.
