Reckon this here pump would hold up alright in a pulp and paper mill? Those machines run pretty much non-stop.

Application-wise, the Vickers 4520V series is definitely up to the task in pulp and paper, plus primary metal, wood processing, and general industrial settings, so continuous use shouldn't be a problem.

Running this on a pulp and paper line and the noise level in our facility is already something we deal with every day. Does this pump do anything to help with that or is it pretty much standard?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 23, 2025, 8:52 AM
The intra-vane cartridge design built into this pump specifically addresses noise reduction. It's not just a general claim either, that cartridge geometry is the main engineering feature that sets this series apart from conventional vane pump designs. For a facility where ambient noise is already a concern, that's a meaningful advantage over a standard pump.
