pump's rated for mining and metal forming work, but what about injection molding lines? seen some of these piston pumps struggle to keep up with cycle demands on molding equipment
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 21, 2025, 12:48 PM
Injection molding is actually one of the listed applications for this pump, so it's built with that kind of cyclic, high-demand workload in mind. The PVH057 frame is part of the Vickers PVH Series from Danfoss/Eaton, and the open circuit piston design handles the variable load conditions that show up in molding cycles. The torque-limiting feature is worth noting here too since it actively protects drive components when loads shift, which is pretty common on injection molding equipment.
