VICKERS FCV7 10 C 0 40

Description & Features

Designed for mobile and industrial hydraulic circuits, the Vickers FCV7 10 C 0 40 is a flow restrictor-style flow control valve rated to 350 bar (5,000 psi) with a maximum flow capacity of 350 L/min (92 USgpm). The unit is well-suited to demanding environments including harvesters and refuse haulers, where consistent flow regulation under variable pressure conditions is required.

At a rated flow of 45 litres per minute, this valve provides dependable flow restriction in a compact, economical package. The FCV7-10 series is part of the Vickers line, now produced under the Danfoss/Eaton brand family, and carries the alternate part reference FCV710C040 for cross-referencing purposes.

Question by: Chad P on Dec 28, 2025, 8:51 PM
Running a refuse hauler and need something that'll hold up to pressure swings without bleeding off flow. This Vickers FCV7 rated for that kind of work?
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 30, 2025, 6:18 AM
Refuse hauler duty is actually one of the applications this valve was built around. It handles up to 350 bar (5,000 psi) and can pass up to 350 litres per minute, so pressure swings in that kind of circuit are well within its range. The rated flow sits at 45 litres per minute, which is where it does its best work as a flow restrictor. Compact build keeps it from eating up space on a crowded machine too.
