got a C-12-2U setup, is this housing the right spare part or is it something else?

Function-wise, it is a replacement housing for the Danfoss and Eaton Vickers C-12-2U, sold as a spare part in the SICV accessories group.
Question by: Roy M on Aug 23, 2025, 6:13 AM
What's this housing actually made out of, and is it gonna hold up running on a refuse hauler day in and day out?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 24, 2025, 9:45 AM
Aluminum construction throughout. For refuse hauler duty that means you get solid corrosion resistance and a weight profile that doesn't add unnecessary bulk to the assembly. The C-12-2U is a Danfoss built component, and aluminum is a pretty standard choice for this type of housing precisely because it handles the repetitive stress and environmental exposure that comes with mobile applications like refuse collection.
