Designed for use in directional control valve assemblies, the Vickers Body CB10 DA4G is a sandwich manifold component developed under the Vickers by Danfoss/Eaton product line. Sandwich manifolds of this type are mounted between a directional control valve and its subplate, allowing additional hydraulic functions to be integrated without added external components.

Available in a variety of configurations, this body is suited for inline hydraulic circuit applications where space efficiency and clean circuit integration are priorities. So this manifold body just kinda sits between the valve and the subplate? What's the deal with that?

It does exactly that, sitting between the directional control valve and its subplate. This allows you to integrate additional hydraulic functions without having to add a bunch of extra external components.
