VICKERS CV3 10V P 0 65

Description & Features

Designed for demanding mobile and industrial environments, the Vickers CV3 10V P 0 65 is a poppet-style check valve from the CV3-10/CV13-10 series, built to handle pressures up to 350 bar (5,000 psi) with flow rates reaching 227 L/min (60 USgpm). The poppet construction supports reliable sealing and consistent performance across a wide range of duty cycles.

Rated at 76 litres per minute and featuring low spring settings, this valve suits applications where controlled flow and minimal pressure drop are priorities. Typical installations include harvesters, refuse haulers, and a broad range of mobile and industrial hydraulic circuits. Manufactured under the Vickers brand by Danfoss/Eaton, it reflects the engineering standards associated with the Vickers SICV check valve line.

Question by: Pete F on Aug 23, 2025, 12:46 PM
Flow rate on this one says 76 litres per minute but I also see 227 L/min mentioned, which number actually applies to how this valve performs in the circuit?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 25, 2025, 9:49 AM
Both numbers are part of the same valve's spec sheet, but they refer to different things. The 227 L/min (60 USgpm) is the maximum flow capacity the valve is built to handle, meaning the upper boundary of what it can pass without issue. The 76 litres per minute figure is the rated operational flow, which is the sweet spot where this valve is expected to perform consistently and efficiently in normal duty. Running it closer to that 76 L/min range is where you'll get the most predictable pressure drop behavior, especially given the low spring settings on this unit.
