Rated for 350 bar (5,000 psi) and flows up to 400 L/min (100 USgpm), the Vickers DPS2 16V T F 0 40 is a DPS2-16 Series logic element designed for demanding mobile and industrial hydraulic circuits. Built under the Vickers brand by Danfoss/Eaton, this cartridge-style valve fits within the Slip-In Cartridge Valve (SICV) logic element category, making it well suited for integration into manifold-based hydraulic systems.
Typical applications include harvesters, refuse haulers, and a broad range of mobile and industrial equipment where reliable pressure control and high flow capacity are required. The DPS2-16 Series is engineered to support efficient circuit design, helping reduce the number of components needed in a manifold assembly and shortening overall design lead time.

We run harvesters and refuse trucks both, and I been trying to cut down on how many valves we're cramming into our manifold assemblies. This the kind of cartridge that helps with that, or is it more of a standalone deal?
Answer by: Customer Support on May 3, 2025, 7:32 AM
Cartridge-style valves like this one are built specifically for manifold integration, which is exactly the kind of setup you're describing. The DPS2-16 Series fits into slip-in cartridge valve bores, so it becomes part of the manifold block itself rather than sitting outside it as a separate component. That approach tends to reduce overall part count in a circuit and can shorten the time it takes to get a design from paper to production. For use running both harvesters and refuse haulers, having one valve family that covers both machine types without a bunch of add-on hardware is a real practical advantage.

Can this Vickers valve handle high pressure systems, like around 5000 psi?
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 29, 2025, 2:38 PM
This DPS2-16 series logic element is rated up to 350 bar, which converts to about 5,000 psi, so it should work for your high pressure needs.
