What kind of machinery is this pressure control valve typically used on?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 17, 2025, 6:46 AM
These Vickers PUV3-10 series pressure control valves are frequently used on harvesters and refuse haulers, but they're also suitable for a variety of other mobile and industrial applications.

these rated for 5000 psi? got a refuse hauler that runs hard and i dont want to be swapping valves every season
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 14, 2025, 6:38 AM
5000 psi is exactly what these are built for. The PUV3-10 series handles up to 350 bar, which is 5000 psi, so a hard-running refuse hauler falls right in its wheelhouse. The poppet style construction helps with consistent pressure control under that kind of steady demand, and the design is meant to hold up without being a maintenance headache.
