VICKERS RV3 10 S 0 36/27.5

Description & Features

Designed for demanding mobile and industrial environments, the Vickers RV3 10 S 0 36/27.5 is a poppet-style pressure control valve rated for up to 350 bar (5,000 psi) and flows up to 300 L/min (80 USgpm). Its compact form factor makes it well-suited for installations where space is constrained without compromising pressure management capability.

Part of the Vickers by Danfoss RV3-10 series, this valve is commonly used in harvesters, refuse haulers, and a range of mobile and industrial hydraulic circuits. The poppet construction supports reliable, repeatable pressure control, and the design prioritizes installation flexibility across varied system configurations. Flow rate for this specific variant is rated at 76 litres per minute.

Question by: Jerry G on Jun 14, 2025, 9:27 AM
Got a harvester that keeps blowing relief valves and I'm trying to find something rated high enough to actually hold up. This RV3 10 S 0 36/27.5 go up to 5,000 psi?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 15, 2025, 12:59 PM
Rated to 350 bar, which works out to 5,000 psi, so yes it can handle serious pressure loads. The RV3-10 series was built with exactly those kinds of demanding mobile applications in mind, harvesters included. The poppet-style construction helps with consistent, repeatable pressure control, which matters a lot when you're dealing with systems that cycle hard and often.

If I'm running this valve at its max flow, do I need to derate the pressure at all?
Answer by: Customer Support on May 30, 2025, 7:16 AM
This Vickers RV3-10 valve is rated to handle up to 300 liters per minute, so you shouldn't need to derate the pressure when running at its rated flow.
