Question by: Roger T on Oct 20, 2025, 2:13 PM
Got a refuse hauler that's been going through relief valves and somebody told me the RV3-10 series might be a better fit. What kind of pressure can this thing actually handle?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 21, 2025, 3:01 PM
Running at up to 350 bar, which works out to 5000 psi, this valve is rated well for the kind of demanding cycles refuse haulers put hydraulic systems through. The poppet-style construction keeps it compact, so fitting it into tight spaces on mobile equipment usually isn't a problem. Flow rate on this particular model is 76 liters per minute, so as long as that lines up with your system's demand, it should hold up reliably in that kind of application.
Question by: Duane S on Jan 29, 2026, 9:18 PM
Is this valve okay for mobile hydraulic setups like on a harvester?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 31, 2026, 6:40 AM
Yes, this Vickers RV3-10 valve is designed to work in both mobile and industrial hydraulic systems, so it should be suitable for harvesters.
