VICKERS RV3 10 S 0 9/8

Description & Features

Designed for demanding mobile and industrial environments, the Vickers RV3 10 S 0 9/8 is a poppet-style pressure control valve rated for up to 350 bar (5000 psi) with a flow capacity of 76 litres per minute. Its compact construction supports maximum flexibility in confined installations, making it well-suited for harvesters, refuse haulers, and a broad range of mobile and industrial hydraulic systems.

Part of the Vickers by Eaton/Danfoss RV3-10 series, this valve balances reliable pressure control with an economical, space-efficient design. The poppet configuration provides consistent sealing performance across the rated pressure range, and the series is engineered to handle flow rates up to 300 L/min (80 USgpm) across compatible configurations.

If I'm usin' this on a refuse truck, will that constant flow rate be alright?

This poppet valve is rated for a flow capacity of 76 liters per minute, but the RV3-10 series can handle up to 300 L/min in compatible setups, so you have some margin there. It's designed for demanding environments like mobile equipment.

Got a harvester that keeps blowing relief valves and I'm looking at this RV3 series to replace what's on there now. Is 76 litres per minute gonna be enough flow for a single-valve setup, or is that on the low end for this application?
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 16, 2025, 8:32 PM
For a single relief valve in a harvester circuit, 76 litres per minute is a solid working flow rate and fits right in line with what this valve is built for. Worth knowing that the RV3-10 series as a whole is rated up to 300 L/min across compatible configurations, so depending on how your system is plumbed, there may be higher-flow options in the same series if your circuit demands more. At 350 bar maximum pressure, it can handle the kind of load spikes harvesting equipment throws at a relief valve pretty regularly.
