VICKERS SV2 10 4 0 24DW

Description & Features

Designed for mobile and industrial hydraulic circuits, the Vickers SV2 10 4 0 24DW is a 4-way, 2-position solenoid valve rated for use at 24 volts DC. Built around hardened and ground steel construction, this valve is suited to demanding duty cycles in applications such as harvesters and refuse haulers where reliable directional control is required.

The SV2 series is rated to 350 bar (5,000 psi) with a maximum flow capacity of 227 L/min (60 USgpm), while this specific configuration carries a nominal flow rate of 23 litres per minute. The compact form factor makes it practical for installations where space is a constraint, and the economical design supports straightforward integration into both mobile and stationary hydraulic systems.

Reckon this valve could handle gettin' splashed with hydraulic fluid and road grime all day long?
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 10, 2026, 3:23 PM
Built with hardened and ground steel, this Vickers valve is designed for demanding duty cycles and should hold up well to typical contamination found in mobile hydraulic applications like harvesters and refuse trucks.

Got a harvester that's been giving us fits with the directional control valve, and we're looking at this SV2 to replace it. It run on 24 volt DC and handle the pressure we're likely seeing out in the field?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 28, 2025, 6:11 AM
24 volts DC is exactly what this valve is built for, so that part checks out. On the pressure side, it's rated to 350 bar which works out to 5,000 psi, so unless your system is running beyond that, you've got solid headroom. Flow capacity tops out at 227 litres per minute (60 USgpm), though the nominal flow for this specific configuration is 23 litres per minute. Harvesters are actually one of the listed target applications for the SV2 series, so it's a reasonable fit for that kind of work.
