Reckon this valve will hold up on a harvester, dealing with all that dirt and vibration?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 24, 2025, 6:33 AM
Built with hardened and ground steel, this Vickers solenoid valve is definitely designed to withstand the rugged conditions common in harvesting and refuse hauling applications.
Question by: Cheryl H on Jan 17, 2026, 12:03 PM
runs at 120 volts, that gonna work straight off a standard panel on a refuse truck without needing some kind of step-down setup?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 19, 2026, 7:00 AM
Yeah, 120 volts is about as standard as it gets for North American electrical systems, so you're not looking at any transformer or converter in between. Most refuse haulers running conventional cab power setups will have no trouble feeding this valve directly. Just make sure your circuit is sized right for the solenoid draw and you're good to go.
